Introduction

ReceiptDrop is developed and operated by Wander Ventures S.L. ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Madrid, Spain. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how ReceiptDrop handles your data.

Data We Collect

The short version: almost nothing. ReceiptDrop is designed with privacy at its core. All receipt scanning, OCR processing, and PDF generation happens entirely on your device.

We do not collect, transmit, or store:

• Your scanned receipt images
• OCR text extracted from receipts
• Generated PDF files
• Email addresses you enter for export
• Personal identification data

On-Device Processing

All core functionality runs locally on your iPhone:

• Document scanning uses Apple's Vision framework on-device
• OCR text recognition runs via on-device ML Kit
• PDF generation and export happen locally
• Receipt deduplication uses on-device perceptual hashing

No receipt data ever leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share or email a PDF.

Subscription Data

If you subscribe to ReceiptDrop Pro, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and subscription status from Apple — it does not receive your name, email, or any receipt data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.

Camera Access

ReceiptDrop requires camera access to scan documents using Apple's document scanner. Camera data is processed in real-time on your device and is never transmitted to any server. You can revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings.

Data Storage

Scanned receipts, groups, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using the app's sandboxed storage. This data is included in your iCloud backup if you have device backups enabled. You can delete all app data at any time from the Settings screen within the app.

Third-Party Services

ReceiptDrop uses the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat — subscription management (anonymous user ID and subscription status only)

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Children's Privacy

ReceiptDrop is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children.

Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Spain's LOPDGDD (Ley Orgánica 3/2018), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data. Since ReceiptDrop processes all data on-device and we do not collect personal data on our servers, these rights are inherently fulfilled — your data is always under your control.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
